Patrick McConlogue, a web developer, walks up to Leo Grand, a homeless, on a street in New York City. Patrick offers him $100, no strings attached, or a Cheap laptop, and educational coding materials. Leo chose to code and is now developing his own app called “Trees for Cars.” His story goes viral and now has additional people trying to support him. All he needs now is for his App to hit hard, so he can get off the streets and get his life back on track.
